Boil the pumpkin for 25-30 minutes then purée it using a blender.
In a mixing bowl, add the flour, salt, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix everything.
Mix in the butter, then add the pumpkin purée and gradually knead in the water.
Knead the dough on a floured surface until the dough isn't sticky and it's smooth. Cover and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil over medium heat. Roll the dough into a log, then into 10 equal balls. Flatten each ball.
Fry each cake for 4-5 minutes on each side.
