This Jamaican style peanut porridge recipe is a great way to start your day. It will leave you feeling full and licking your fingers.

Ingredients
3cupsWater
1cupRoasted peanutsremoved from the shell
1cupInstant oats1
1/2cupWhole milk
1/4cupCondensed milk
1Cinnamon stick
2tspVanilla extract
1tspAlmond essence
1/2tspFresh or ground nutmeg
1/2tspGround allspice
Pinch of salt
Instructions
Add the roasted peanuts, instant oats and 1 cup of water to a blender.
Blend until it smooth. It will be thick.
Place a medium pot over medium heat, add 2 cups of water and the cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil.
Stir in the blended peanuts and oats, then add the whole milk, almond essence, condensed milk, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, vanilla extract and salt. Stir everything.
Let it cook for 15-20 minutes, making sure to stir constantly.
