Cooking the pasta
Place some water into a medium size pot over medium-high heat. Once the water has started boiling, stir in the salt and olive oil then add the spaghetti.
Cook the spaghetti until al dente which is about 7-10 minutes, but check the packaging for further instructions.
Making the meatballs
In a mixing bowl, add the ground chicken and the following ingredients: egg, breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, dried oregano, Worcestershire sauce. Mix all the ingredients together until everything is incorporated.
Form the meat mixture into balls and set on a tray or a plate. You should have at least 10 to 12 meatballs.
Place a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil to the pan. Once the skillet is warm add the meatballs to the pan and cook the meatballs for 5-7 minutes on each side.
Once they are done cooking remove them from the skillet and set aside.
The spaghetti sauce
Add the bell pepper, onion and garlic to the skillet and let them cook for 2 minutes.
Pour in the peeled tomatoes, turn the heat down to low and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes. Afterwards pour the sauce into a food processor and mix everything together for about 3 minutes before returning to the pan.
Once the sauce is back to the skillet, pour in the chicken broth and the seasonings as well as the brown sugar. Let it simmer on low for 10 minutes before adding the meatballs. Cook for another 7-10 minutes before serving.
Add the pasta, top with the meatballs and sauce. You can add parmesan on top of it also. Enjoy!
