We picked 5 of our favorite islands that we think is worth visiting this year.

1. Saint-Lucia

Clearly, Saint-Lucia is the top of our list. We could not do without mentioning this beautiful island.

In 2019 and some of 2020, this island has been on everyone’s timeline on Instagram. All the celebrities and influencers made their way to St-Lucia. Of course, it is understandable because of how beautiful and breathtaking this island is.

In addition to its beautiful beaches, the culture, cuisine and natural resources are worth experiencing. You can soak in the Sulphur Spring mud bath which is a natural jacuzzi or you can check out the rain forest, botanical gardens and more.

Fun fact: there is a drive-through in the volcano.

2. Punta Cana

Our second pick is Punta Cana. This was another island that made its way on our feeds in 2019 & 2020. It seem to be the place to be that year.

Punta Cana isn’t an island but it’s a city located in Dominican Republic. It is known for being a honeymoon destination as well as a family destination. The island is full of beautiful beaches along with beautiful resorts.

Of course there are many fun things you can do in this city, such as a aquatic and land activities. Along with the beaches being beautiful, the cuisine is totally worth it.

3. Saint-Kitts

This beautiful island may not have been on the top of your list but surely it is worth seeing.

Saint-Kitts is one of those islands that isn’t “americanized”. It has its own culture and cuisine, there aren’t much fast food chains on the island and there is a heavy promotion of its local food.

Not only can you sit on the sand and enjoy the view of the beautiful beaches, but you can visit historic sites, tropical forests and do island tours.

Saint-Kitts is beautiful and it is also the best island to visit if you want to lay back and chill.

Fun fact: This island is also called sugar city because of its vast cane fields.

4. Dominica

If you want to enjoy beautiful beaches, beautiful rivers and a beautiful scenery then Dominica is the island for you.

Along with beaches, Dominica is the home of 365 rivers. There is literally a river for each day of the year. There are many waterfalls, natural pools, rain forests and natural springs.

Dominica is also one of those islands which isn’t americanized, so there is a huge emphasis on the local cuisine, nature and the local culture. This island tend to be forgotten but when you visit, you never want to go back home. It is peaceful and breathtaking at the same time.

5. Anguilla

Anguilla is the perfect destination for anyone that is seeking quietness and beauty. Not only will you soak up on the sun on the beautiful beaches, but you can enjoy all the perks of the many resorts. This island is the home to many beautiful resorts that allow you to open your door and walk out on the beach.

It is quiet, peaceful and beautiful.
