Twix Cheesecake Recipe

5K

I’m I the only one who obsesses over Cheesecakes? I love a good twix bar and combine the two is just amazing. This Twix Cheesecake recipe is just amazing.

Cheesecakes are one of those desserts you can create amazing flavours with. You can do almost anything with the base, including a Twix Cheesecake recipe. I am a huge twix lover and integrating into a cheesecake just came natural to me.

If a Twix Cheesecake isn’t your thing then you can take the Twix and just make it a classic Cheesecake.

I topped the cheesecake with salted caramel and chocolate whipped cream, and let me tell you, this was perfection.

I hope you try this recipe.

Let’s get into the recipe.

Ingredients:

For the crust:

  • 4 tbsp Butter, melted
  • 10-12 Graham Crackers

For the filling:

  • 16 oz Cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1/2+1/4 cups Granulated sugar
  • 1+1/2 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup Sour cream
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 Eggs
  • 8 Twix bars, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Salted Caramel
  • Chocolate Whipped cream

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven at 350°F/180°C.
  2. In a food processor pulse the crackers until they become fine crumbs. If you don’t have a food processor you can use a ziplock bag and a rolling pin to crush the crackers.
  3. Add the butter to the crumbs and mix together. Place the crackers to a spring form pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl add the cream cheese and whisk using a hand mixer or stand mixer. When the cream cheese has become smooth add the eggs and the sour cream until everything is well incorporated.
  5. Add the vanilla, granulated sugar and cornstarch, mix one last time. Once everything has blended together set aside fold in the twix bars.
  6. Remove the crust once it has done baking and let it cool. Once the crust is cool fill it with the cream cheese filling and bake for 1 hour. If it jiggles a little in the middle then it is done.
  7. Before removing it from the oven, crack the door open and let it cool for at least 30 minutes. Remove it from the oven and let it cool for an hour then refrigerate overnight.
  8. Drizzle with salted caramel sauce and whipped cream. Slice and enjoy!
